Self-hosted. We deliver a server with BigBlueButton and Greenlight already installed and keep the infrastructure running; you keep root access and control the platform itself — updates, branding, recordings and integrations. Support covers the server and network.
BigBlueButton only runs over HTTPS, so it needs a domain and a valid certificate.
Yes. The server exposes the standard BigBlueButton API endpoint, so it plugs into Moodle, Canvas and WordPress, or into your own LMS via REST. Greenlight is there if you'd rather use it as a standalone platform.
Users behind restrictive firewalls or VPNs may need a TURN/STUN server to get audio and video through. With root access you can deploy Co-TURN on your server or point BigBlueButton at an external one.
Yes. For larger deployments you can run several BigBlueButton servers behind Scalelite, the official load balancer, and route sessions across them from your LMS. You design the topology; we supply the servers.
