HOSTKEY Expands Era-IX and Cogent Connectivity in Amsterdam and Frankfurt

We are pleased to announce major upgrades to HOSTKEY’s network infrastructure in Amsterdam (NL) and Frankfurt (DE).

HOSTKEY has expanded its connectivity with Era-IX, increasing capacity to 100G ports in both locations. In parallel, we have also added to our Cogent connectivity now up to 200G in the Netherlands and Germany, further strengthening backbone capacity and network resiliency.

These upgrades significantly increase available bandwidth, improve traffic stability and minimize latency across key European routes. This build-out of peering and transit capacity greatly enhances network performance for both inbound and outbound traffic.

Era-IX provides direct access to a broad range of networks and content providers, optimizing routing efficiency and lowering latency across European exchanges. At the same time, the additional Cogent capacity reinforces international transit connectivity and redundancy, helping maintain stable network performance during peak traffic periods.
