HOSTKEY Object Storage delivers the scalable space to store and manage your unstructured data using AWS S3-Compatible API. Employ your existing S3 tools with no extra charges for PUT / POST / COPY / LIST operations.
Use Cases
Choose Standard Storage for frequently accessed data or Cold Storage for long-term, infrequently accessed datasets. Both plans use S3-compatible workflows and transparent storage/bandwidth pricing.
Free Beta access will end on 21 September 2026
If you are currently on the Free Beta plan and wish to continue using the S3 Object Storage service, please confirm automatic transition to the paid Standard Storage plan. Important notes:
If you wish to continue using S3 Object Storage and be transitioned to the paid Standard Storage plan, please confirm your acceptance of the transition through your HOSTKEY user account, by email, or by contacting the Support Team.
If you do not want to continue using S3 Object Storage and be transitioned to the paid Standard Storage plan, please ignore this.
If no confirmation is received before the transition date, it will be deemed that you have declined the transition to the paid Standard Storage plan.
If you decline the transition, all data stored in your S3 Object Storage under the Free Beta plan will be permanently deleted on the effective date and cannot be restored. Please ensure that you back up or download any data you wish to keep before the effective date.
If you confirm the transition to the paid Standard Storage plan, it will apply to all your active S3 accounts (services with unique S3UIDs). To avoid being subscribed to multiple Standard Storage plans at once, please delete any unused S3 accounts before the specified transition date.
Estimate your monthly cost based on storage volume and bandwidth. The calculator uses the selected HOSTKEY plan rates and shows an indicative price before checkout.

When comparing S3-compatible storage providers, check storage price, bandwidth, API operation fees and minimum commitments. HOSTKEY pricing is based on the selected base plan plus additional storage and bandwidth consumption.
Volume and bandwidth are calculated and billed on a pay-as-you-go basis in 1 GB increments. The price calculator provides an estimated cost for informational purposes only.
The final price of the Service shall be the price displayed on the order checkout page within the Customer Portal at the time the Customer places the order.
S3-compatible Object Storage is a way to store unstructured data, such as files, images, videos and logs, using an API compatible with the Amazon S3 standard. This allows you to use your existing tools, SDKs and workflows as with AWS S3, but with a different provider.
Backup and disaster recovery — reliably store and restore data without managing your own infrastructure
Media storage and delivery — host and deliver images, videos and other static content at scale
Data analytics and processing — store large datasets for analytics, logging and data pipelines
Application assets storage — manage user uploads, documents and other application files
As an alternative to AWS, HOSTKEY S3-compatible storage offers similar functionality but with no extra charges for PUT / POST / COPY / LIST operations. HOSTKEY S3 Object Storage remains fully compatible with all existing S3-based tools and workflows.
HOSTKEY Object Storage provides S3-compatible storage for unstructured data such as backups, media files, logs, archives and application assets.
We take care of all technical aspects of your S3 storage infrastructure, so you don't have to worry about administration. Simply manage your files, buckets and access settings while we handle the rest.

HOSTKEY S3-compatible Object Storage is designed for teams that want familiar S3 workflows without complex hyperscaler billing. Store backups, media, logs and application data using transparent storage and bandwidth pricing, with no extra charges for common S3 API operations.
S3-compatible Object Storage stores unstructured data such as files, backups, media, logs and archives using an API compatible with Amazon S3. This allows teams to use existing S3 tools and workflows with HOSTKEY infrastructure.
Yes. HOSTKEY Object Storage is designed for teams that need S3-compatible workflows, transparent pricing and a simpler cost structure than many hyperscaler storage services.
The monthly price is calculated as the selected base plan plus additional storage and bandwidth consumption. The calculator provides an estimate; the final price is shown at checkout.
HOSTKEY does not add separate charges for common operations such as PUT, POST, COPY and LIST. Storage volume and bandwidth are billed according to the selected plan.
Standard Storage is intended for frequently accessed data such as backups, media, logs and application files. Cold Storage is cost effective for long-term, infrequently accessed data.
Yes. HOSTKEY S3-compatible storage can be used for backup copies, offsite storage and disaster recovery workflows. Make sure your backup tool supports S3-compatible endpoints and test restores before production use.
You can manage buckets, files and access settings in the HOSTKEY interface. Since the service is S3-compatible, many S3-compatible tools, SDKs and backup workflows may also be used based on your personal preferences.
You can have up to 100 buckets in HOSTKEY Object Storage. If you need more, contact the Support Team.
No. Files and objects are private by default and require valid credentials or a signed URL for access. Configure bucket and object permissions carefully before sharing files publicly.
Yes, migration is usually possible with S3-compatible tools and workflows. Before moving production data, test endpoint compatibility, credentials, permissions, metadata and access policies.
