HOSTKEY provides VPS IPv6

IPv6 is an improved (compared to IPv4) Internet network protocol developed by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). VPS IPv6 has a number of advantages over its predecessor, such as higher data transfer speeds, simplified configuration and routing, improved security, etc.

The transition to IPv6 only VPS is more than justified and there are a number of reasons for this:

Accelerated routing. Because IPv6 addresses are unique around the world, there will be no need to use NAT (Network Address Translation) technology, which often overloads equipment and can slow down connection speeds, and it will also be possible to use compact and efficient backbone routing.
Safety. Since the IPv4 protocol was developed before the emergence of many modern security threats, it requires additional protection, while cheap IPv6 VPS is inherently much more secure at all levels, largely due to the mandatory support for the IPsec protocol.
Quality of service. The implementation of the QoS (Quality of Service) function based on the Traffic Class and Flow Label fields simplifies the identification of data packets with the greatest sensitivity to connection delays and facilitates more efficient provision of quality service.

Who needs IPv6 VPS

The transition to cheap IPv6 VPS will be especially useful for the following clients:

Companies. Using a virtual server with IPv6 is extremely convenient for organizations that need to connect a large number of devices into a single network and have high requirements for data protection. Since IPv4 addresses for virtual servers are now often allocated on a paid basis, the use of the new protocol also provides significant cost savings. In addition, when renting an IPv6 VPS, there are usually no problems with ordering additional IPv6 addresses, while obtaining additional IPv4 addresses may require a clear technical justification for the purposes of their use, and if they are used for other purposes, there is a risk of their withdrawal.
Internet of Things (IoT) users. Modern smart devices typically support the new network protocol standard by default and require a unique IP address, so using IPv6 for IoT will greatly simplify setup. A virtual server with IPv6 support is suitable both for organizing a smart home and for deploying and monitoring a fleet of “smart things” with processing data coming from thousands of sensors.
