S3 Object Storage - Standard Plan Pricing

Pricing model

The final price is calculated as (base plan) + (additional consumption).

• The base plan is a fixed price subscription.
• Additional consumption (bandwidth and volume) is billed as pay-as-you-go and calculated daily.

Standard Plan (scalable)

“Standard” plan has a fixed price of $5 per month and includes:

• 250 GB of storage
• 1 TB of outbound traffic
• 1,500 command requests per IP address per second to all buckets on an S3 account
• max amount of 100 buckets

“Standard” plan limits can be automatically increased according to “Additional Rates”.

Additional Rates USD

• Additional storage above included 250 GB costs $0.02/GB/month
• Additional bandwidth above included 1 Tb costs $0.01/GB transferred

• Additional storage above included 250 GB costs €0.017/GB/month
• Additional bandwidth above included 1 Tb costs €0.0086/GB transferred
• Additional amount of buckets - please contact sales

Storage volume

• Storage volume is calculated daily with rounding up to 1 GB (with no GB shares less than 1).
• Additional storage above included 250 GB is billed as pay-as-you-go and calculated daily according to the formula:
  Daily Cost = Stored_GB × (Price_per_GB_per_month / Days_in_month)
• Additional storage above the included 250 is charged according to Additional Rates.

Examples of additional volume calculation:

• 1 GB stored for 1 month → $0.02
• 1 GB stored for 15 days → about $0.01 based on amount of days in a month
• 10 GB stored for 1 month → $0.20
• 10 GB stored for 10 days → about $0.067 based on amount of days in a month

Bandwidth

• Additional bandwidth above included 1 TB is charged according to Additional Rates.
• Additional bandwidth above included 1 TB costs $0.01/GB transferred.
• Additional bandwidth is calculated with rounding up to 1 GB (with no GB shares less than 1).
• 1 GB is calculated as 1024 MB.
• Inbound bandwidth to HOSTKEY Object Storage is free.
