Despite the global shortage of graphics cards and high-performance CPUs, HOSTKEY is offering discounts on GPU servers and servers based on AMD processors in our data center in the Netherlands.

The offer is valid for the new customers and customers who had stopped using HOSTKEY’s services by 01 Jun 2020.

In recent months there has been an all-time high demand for powerful servers (especially GPU servers) due to an incredibly rapid rise in value of the cryptocurrencies. As you know, cryptocurrency mining requires substantial computing resources. The prices of the latest generation GPU cards have scaled up drastically but despite that they are still very hard to come by as miners instantly snatch any cards that appear on the market.

HOSTKEY team has always strived to support projects that bring substantial benefits and that improve the well-being of the humanity. For several years now, we have been supporting scientific projects and promising startups that use neural networks and artificial intelligence. In 2020, we provided GPU servers for COVID-19 protein research and scientific projects to develop a vaccine against the virus. In addition, for over 1.5 years we have been supporting the data scientist community and providing them with free computing powers to research and participate in competitions like Kaggle Competitions, Driven Data and others.

We understand that high rental prices and server shortage slow down many important projects. To this end we decided to reduce the cost of GPU servers and servers based on AMD processors by 10-15% for initiatives that bring real benefits and change the world for the better. In addition, we plan to provide equipment on a priority basis to socially significant projects.

How to get a discounted server?

In order to get a discount, kindly get in touch with our Sales department and submit a request. We will evaluate your application within 10 business days. If we find your project to meet our requirements, we will provide a server with a discount on a priority basis. The discount is determined individually for each applicant.

Application should include the following:

 

The description of your project (at least 500 characters);

Project URL;

Links to the publications about the project and (optionally) references;

Company details.

Application should be submitted from the corporate email address.

The more information you provide, the higher the chances are that your application will be approved.

We reserve the right to request additional information, such as a formal request for servers on a company letterhead signed by the CTO or CEO.

Please note that submitting an application does not warrant priority provision of equipment and / or granting discounts.
