Network Support Engineer (NOC)

Location: Armenia, Yerevan

Our Tasks

Provide technical support to company customers through the ticketing system
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
Communicate with customers in both English and Russian
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve incidents and customer requests
Interact with Internet Service Providers and upstream carriers
Work with Regional Internet Registries (RIPE NCC, ARIN)
Ensure stable operation of the company's network infrastructure
Analyze network patterns and search for peering possibilities to lower costs and improve latency
Administer and maintain network equipment (software upgrades, configuration, backups, logging, inventory management)
Monitor network devices and services
Diagnose and resolve hardware and network failures
Maintain accurate network documentation (NetBox)

We Will Be Glad If Your Skills Include

2+ years of experience in a similar networking role
Experience communicating with customers in English (using translation tools or AI assistants is perfectly acceptable)
Strong troubleshooting skills using networking tools such as: ping, traceroute, MTR, tcpdump, iperf, Wireshark
Solid understanding of Layer 2 networking technologies: STP / MSTP, VLAN, LACP, Port Security, AAA, Syslog, VXLAN
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment from at least several of the following vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Huawei
Experience with network monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Cacti, MRTG, LibreNMS, PRTG, or similar
Experience with routing and high availability technologies: BGP, OSPF, BFD, MLAG, VSS, VRRP, IPsec VPN
Experience with Linux/*nix systems
Automation skills using Bash, Python, or Ansible
CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking knowledge
Experience working with data center infrastructure
Familiarity with IPv6 deployment and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox, KVM, etc.)
DDoS protection analysis using Andrisoft Wanguard
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

Willingness to continuously learn new networking technologies
