Order a Server Through the HOSTKEY Website¶
In this article
You can place an order for a dedicated server, VPS/VDS, GPU server, or a server with a custom configuration through the HOSTKEY website. After registration, you will be able to manage servers through the Invapi panel.
Overview of Available Server Types¶
Through the website, you can order the following types of servers:

Dedicated Servers
Physical servers with fixed or custom characteristics. Ready configurations are available for immediate delivery (5–20 minutes).
Menu section: Servers > Ready Servers. -
Virtual Servers (VPS/VDS)
Virtualized servers based on KVM/Xen. Quick setup and scalability.
Menu section: VPS. -
GPU Servers
Dedicated or virtual servers with NVIDIA/AMD video cards for machine learning, rendering, and other high-load applications.
Menu section: GPU. -
Special Servers (Configurator)
Fully custom server: choose CPU, RAM, disks, RAID, network settings.
Available through the online configurator. -
Sale
Special offers on ready servers with discounts.
Menu section: Sale.
Attention
The ordering process differs depending on the type of server, but the general steps are the same: Choose Server > Configuration > Basket > Registration > Payment
Order Processing: General Stages¶
- Server Selection — from the list of ready solutions or through a configurator.
- Software Setup and Additional Parameters — choosing an operating system or application from the Marketplace and additional parameters (SSH keys, scripts, callback-URL).
- Network Settings and Services — traffic, IP addresses, DDoS protection.
- Order Placement — checking in the cart, registration, payment.

All changes to the configuration are displayed in real-time in the sidebar Cost of Order.
Order a Dedicated Server (Pre-configured Options)¶
Step 1: Choose the Server¶
Navigate to Servers > Instant.

In the server card, you will find:
- Location (data center).
- Processor (model, number of cores).
- Amount of RAM.
- Storage (type, size, RAID).
- Port and amount of traffic.
- Monthly rental cost.
After selection, click Buy now to proceed with configuring the server settings.
Step 2: Operating System, Pre-installed Software, and Additional Parameters¶
Select the required category:

Note
If an application from the Marketplace is selected, the operating system will be chosen automatically.

Specify: - Public SSH key of the superuser (will be recorded in the system under root). - Post-install callback URL — address that will be called via cURL upon first start. - Cloud-init / post install scripts — commands executed after installation.

Step 3: Network Settings and Additional Services¶
- Select a traffic tariff plan: Traffic Costs
- Specify the number of additional IP addresses: How to Choose Your IP

Step 4: Placing an Order¶
- Click
Checkoutand proceed to Cart. - Verify the order details.
- Click
Next, complete registration or login and pay for the order.
Order a Custom Server via Configurator¶
Use the configurator if you require a unique build.
Go to the configurator
Step 1: Select Hardware¶
Configure:
- CPU model.
- Location.
- Amount of RAM.
- Type and size of hard drives (HDD/SSD/NVMe).
- Presence and type of RAID.
- Platform (Intel/AMD).

and click Next
Step 2: Software¶
Choose:
- Operating System
- Server Control Panel from the Marketplace (if necessary)

- IPv4/IPv6 Addresses: Service Conditions.
- DDoS Protection: Learn More.
- Switching: Service Description.

Step 4: Level of Technical Support (SLA)¶
Choose the support level:
- Best Effort (via email/phone)
- Priority (email/phone/LiveChat)
- TOP Priority SLA (email/phone/LiveChat, response within 30 minutes)
and Management
- Self-service
- WEB (servers)
- VMS (nodes)

Order Finalization¶
- Click
Checkout. - Confirm agreement with the terms of delivery for custom-built servers and click
Order

- Go to Cart.
- Click
Next, complete registration or login and pay for the order.
Attention
The delivery time for custom-built servers is up to 5 business days.
Order VPS/VDS Server¶
Step 1: Choose Configuration¶
Go to the VPS section and select:
- Type of virtual server.
- Performance (CPU, RAM, disk).
- Region of placement.
- Pre-configured setup.

After making your selection, click Buy now, to proceed with configuring the server settings.
Step 2: Operating System, Pre-installed Software and Additional Parameters¶
Select from the following categories:

The operating system will be automatically selected when choosing an application from the App Marketplace.


Specify:
- Public SSH key for superuser (will be recorded in the system under root).
- Post-install callback URL — address that will be called via cURL at first run.
- Cloud-init / post install scripts — commands executed after installation.
Specify root password (generated one can be used).

Step 4: Placing an Order¶
- Click Add to Cart, then proceed to
Contiue orderand navigate to the Cart. - Review your order and click
Next. - Complete registration or login and pay for the order.
Order a GPU Server¶
Step 1: Choose the server¶
Go to the GPU section and select the model of the graphics card (e.g., NVIDIA A5000, RTX 5090, etc.).

The server card specifies:
- GPU model and VRAM capacity.
- Processor, RAM, disks.
- Port and traffic.
- Rental cost.

After selection, click Buy now to proceed with configuring the server setup.
Step 2: Operating System, Pre-installed Software, and Additional Parameters¶

The operating system is automatically selected when choosing an application from the App Marketplace.


Specify:
- Public SSH key for the superuser (will be saved in the system as root).
- Post-install callback URL — the address that will be called via cURL upon first launch.
- Cloud-init / post install scripts — commands executed after installation.
Specify the root password (you can use a generated one).

Step 3: Place Order¶
- Click
Checkoutand proceed to the Cart. - Verify the data and click
Next. - Complete registration or authorization and pay for the order.
Sale: Discounted Servers¶
The Sale section contains special offers on ready-made servers.

Click Order a Server to go to the list of available options.
Select a suitable one and follow the instructions for placing an order depending on the type of server.

Registration and Payment of Order¶
The procedure depends on whether you are registered in the system.
For New Clients¶

Fill in all required fields (marked with a red star):

Name, email, phone.
- Password.
- Address and details (if necessary).

- Confirm registration.

For Registered Clients¶
- Enter your username and password.
- Log in to the Invapi Personal Account.
Order Completion¶
After authorization:
- Verify the contents of your order in the cart.
- Click
Pay. - Choose a payment method.

- Available payment methods: credit card, bank transfer.

After payment, the server is activated:
- Ready-made servers — within 5–20 minutes.
- Custom-built servers — within 5 business days.
