Server Hardware Questions¶

Can I view the usage history of the CPU and GPU? Are they new?¶

Servers from any line are provided from the existing hardware pool. We do not maintain a usage history for individual components (CPU/GPU); however, all equipment undergoes diagnostics and is in fully functional condition.

Can I find out which motherboard is installed and what BIOS version it has?¶

Our servers use various component models, which may not match even for similar servers from the pool. Please note that parameters (CPU microcode, power settings) may differ depending on the specific server instance from the pool.

Can I find out the CPU microcode version (e.g., 0x12F) before renting?¶

We cannot provide information regarding the microcode version of a specific server or the output of system commands prior to the allocation of the hardware.

What BIOS configuration is installed (Intel Default Settings, PL1/PL2 limits)?¶

Servers are operated in their standard configuration. Detailed BIOS settings (including Intel Default Settings profiles, overclocking parameters, and power modes) are not documented in advance and may vary from server to server. Specific CPU power limit values are also not recorded in advance.

What cooling system is installed in the server and is thermal throttling possible?¶

We do not perform preliminary long-term stress tests on each individual server and do not provide reports on temperatures or the presence of thermal throttling before the start of operation.

What are the specifications of a specific GPU (model, Power Limit, PCIe mode)?¶

We guarantee that the server is equipped with a specific type of GPU (e.g., NVIDIA RTX 4090). The exact manufacturer and revision of the graphics card may vary depending on the specific server from the pool.

Are GPU stress test results provided (temperatures, Hotspot, Xid errors)?¶

We do not provide preliminary stress test results (including temperature readings and Xid error logs) until the server is handed over for use.

What power supply is installed in the server?¶

The power supply model depends on the specific configuration of the selected server.

What RAM is installed in the server?¶

The type and capacity of the memory are specified in the server card when ordering. The exact manufacturer and revision of the graphics card may vary depending on the specific server from the pool.
